In testing, I also found the wearable connectivity unimpressive; while accurate, it showed only basic metrics (pace and heart rate) during my run. It didn’t note any laps or splits, and there wasn’t an option to mark those manually. During testing, we loved the range of workouts but found it a little irritating having to bend down and manually skip between exercises. We’d also say this app is aimed at women, but there’s no reason why guys couldn’t follow the training plans. If you need a consistent strength training plan, Strong offers everything you need.

GymFit App: Your Pocket Personal Trainer

Our other tester, GGR head of content and CPT Nicole Davis, liked them and found them helpful. App makers would love for you to believe that the best discounts happen between November and January, but it’s just not true. Deals crop up all year round, and some sales never seem to end.
